To set forth an avalanche of thrills at the earliest, the ‘Misfits’ actor is busy filming his part in Dublin. His performance level can be expected to reach a never-before crescendo with this show, as he’s still fresh from casting his spell with ‘Lockout.’

News has flooded in that Joe has been roped in for ‘Ripper Street, just to perform a guest role.

Let’s hope he can make a mountain out of a molehill in a positive sense. Come on, you know what I mean- we are expecting another arresting performance from this powerhouse of talent.

Racial discrimination in most of the developed nations of the day is a serious offence, considering the amount of time that human beings have spent in fighting this serious ailment in our society.

Anyone found guilty of discriminating on racial lines is considered as someone, who is mentally sick, and needs a whack on the back to understand that skin-color has got to do nothing with the way a human soul is, and that he has no right to feed his ill-mentality into the society.

Now imagine, somebody from the world of acting has been charged with racially aggravated abuse that she inflicted on her taxi-driver on the 1st of October last year.

Lauren Socha won a BAFTA for her character of Kelly Bailey from the famous TV series, Misfits, and people can actually imagine her as someone, who isn’t as mature as she depicts herself to the world, and someone who has her head boiling with racial biasness.

Socha has been pleading not guilty for the incident that happened in Derby City Center, but it would only be in April that the court will hold a trial to deliver a sentence that she deserves.

In April 2011, Socha clinched many a fans by winning the only BAFTA for the show. Her performances in the Misfits episodes shot her to fame that unfortunately won’t last for more than exactly a year, if the Crown Court sentences her real severely this April.

Well, Socha now has one solid month to work out plans to prove her innocence, and I guess her fate at the moment lies more in the hands of the Derbyshire police than anybody else.

The British show ‘Misfits’ is picked for a US remake.

Well, I am not talking about the US version of the forthcoming season, but the whole series.

Yup guys, the entertainment world is rife with the news that Josh Schwartz, the guy who gave us the smash hit show Gossip Girl, is planning to introduce a US remake of the British supernatural series.

Rumor has it that the producer is considering the early pre-production of Misfits.

That’s great news and it would undoubtedly send ripples of joy all across America. And given the fact that show has done so well in UK, there would be a lot of anticipation from the US fans.

Well, I just hope that while having a new take on the mystery-draped show, the new writers do not spoil the original milieu of how the young superhuman beings embark on to adventure rides.

Some amount of change would be brought in the presentation, but I don’t think there would be a major wear and tear with the plotline.

The concept of US Misfits is currently at development stage. And that’s why it’s not yet confirmed whether the show would rope in the original cast, or look for some new faces for characters with super abilities.

Meanwhile, the news of Misfits returning to TV is like a fulfillment of long cherished dream of suspense show lovers, because previously it was announced that there would be no more new events.

By the way, you still have to wait for some time to get yourself a Misfits download, as season 3 would make it debut by the end of October.

I would make a good watch in the new segment, as the guys with special abilities would explore more about how a storm changed their lives.

Double delights waiting those in US and elsewhere. And the burgeoning popularity of the show would surely convert it into a franchise, very soon.

The lives of these juveniles are topsy-turvy indeed, as they sail through the maelstrom in their own way. Not only are they required to handle their special powers carefully, they also have to guard their powers from several vicious elements. While many might tout the possession of unique abilities as a boon, it brings forth for them a slew of unending troubles and rumblings.

Misfits season 3 episode 8 would unravel another monstrous challenge having a face-off with these youngsters. This upcoming installment is due to be aired on December 18, 2011.

The forthcoming batch is dominated by the presence of a virtual medium that is being occupied by a strange super element. This medium flashes the faces of those, who died long back!

Hang on! Watch out for this bewildering maze, for those faces also include Tony and Sally.

Remember them? Well, Tony and Sally were the probation workers who were inadvertently killed by the troupe of five. It doesn’t take long for the gang members to understand the nuances of this latest series of happenings in their vicinity.

They are apprised of the fact that those corpses are making a foray into the world of the live, and they harbor malicious intentions for sure!

While all these troubles are snowballing into an imminent peril with immense potential, another interesting sequence is conjuring on the front of Simon.

Well, Simon would be smitten with the impending need to put on the garb of ‘Superhoodie’ yet again. Voila! Now this is surely getting interesting with every successive segment.

Would Simon be able to fend off the peril? One can only keep his fingers crossed and hope for the best!

Cheerleaders have always remained one of the biggest temptations for guys, but I’m sure all your fascinations would go haywire if you see them turning into an army of zombies. I guess, none of you want to meet them! However, the team of Misfits has no other alternative, but to meet zombie cheerleaders.

As per the buzz, in Misfits season 3 episode 7, Seth will be seen busy mourning over his lost love, i.e. Shannon’s sudden demise. But before he gets a chance to come out of his grief, he finds a new challenge, according to which, everyone will have to fight the zombie cheerleaders.

A new disease has been spreading like a wildfire, taking this clique of cheerleaders in its grip. Perhaps, the Misfits team will have to fight and break the curse to save them.

Apart from this spooky theme, Seth will receive resurrection powers and transfer the same into Curtis. Something terrible is happening with Curtis for long, but his gender-swap was truly entertaining in the previous segment. He also summons his dead ex-flame, Shannon to clear his guilt!

But things take a bizarre turn when she develops a taste for blood after rising from her grave! This call of Seth can bring another challenge for him, as she is no more his girlfriend, and the dead has no relation with feelings. Above all this, he is still disgruntled with the death of Shannon, as he wanted to save her but all his efforts went in vain.

To sum up, this segment of Misfits is going to bring some more enthralling moments for the die-hard fans of the show. The team of Misfits can hear anybody’s thought and go invisible whenever they want, but all their powers will be challenged by the clique of the zombie cheerleaders.

So don’t forget to watch the way they manage the biggest challenge of their lives!

Simon did portray a lot of philanthropy, when he rescues Peter, a comic-book nerd kind of a character, from getting robbed.

We admit that Peter was in a lot of trouble, and this poor soul might have to give away all he had if Simon had not arrived on time.

I don’t remember if we ever got to watch Simon using his SuperHoodie disguise so well, and more than everything else, using his powers so responsibly.

But somehow we also got to witness the fact that Simon’s acts were lead by his heart to a huge extent, and that he simply did not understand the wicked strategies that trapped him. He proved himself a guy, who did not think much before diving into situations in order to prevent them or minimize their impact.

Peter turned out to be the smarter one as he befriended Simon, and then, stalked him, having him to break up with Alisha and attack friends!

The plan to take out on Hitler, using Curtis’s vintage time-rewind power, went for a toss, as the entire process lead to the creation of a Nazi-Britain in a different world altogether.

On the other hand, Jen, a coma patient, manages to turn the impossible possible, by swapping bodies with Kelly, and fleeing from the hospital. It was only for the gang that she was saved.

Misfits season 3 episode 6 will see all hell break loose on Rudy, as he wakes up with a powerful STD, after spending a night with a mysterious date. The installment will find him coming to terms with this hard-hitting reality that might alter his life forever. He needs to get rid of it fast. This segment will also have both Curtis and Seth grappling with their powers. Check it out!

Misfits depict an altogether different world of power, where nothing is impossible. The exceptionally powerful characters of the series are again ready to discover some ways to challenge their power. Stick around to check what they are planning to do next!

The creators will take you to the time when Hitler used to rule the world with his exceptional managerial skills. Apparently, a Jewish man wants to make a mess by using the powers of Curtis. His time rewinding powers can change any event of the past!

By the time Misfits stop this man who is intent on killing Hitler, they will be lost in Nazi occupied Britain.

In Misfits season 3 episode 4, you will not only meet a new Britain that is under the reign of Hitler, but also a man who is keen to take revenge.

It is not at all easy to change the biggest event of history, but as I wrote earlier, nothing is impossible in Misfits’ world. Don’t you think that the creators are in a mood to touch some sensitive issues in the upcoming round of the series?

Such situation rose at the time of WW II, when Britain came under the influence of Nazis. Intentionally or unintentionally, the creators are going to touch a topic that is still a matter of curiosity for everyone.

Furthermore, the Nazis will force Seth to surrender, compelling him to transfer all his powers to them.

I’m really looking forward to watch this intriguing batch, as it is going to supply to us a dose of politics.

The spoilers of Misfits season 3 episode 5 also suggest that it is as intriguing as the

previous one. In a word, both the installments are certainly spectacular, so don’t miss a chance to catch both of them!

If you could switch your sex (i.e., from a male to a female or vice-versa), who will be around you all the time? Misfits TV show has entered the character development mode in season 3, and one of them will acquire the unique power of changing his gender at his wish.

Curtis is the one gaining the power. If you remember, Curtis was banned from professional running because of a drug issue. Well, he wants to run again.

Melissa, his female companion, will help him out with the ‘running’ business. But it won’t be that easy for him to handle this new power. He will be getting unwanted ‘manly’ attention, which will be the main focus of the installment. Lady Curtis will be seen going crazy over Emma, a female runner. But Curtis is not at all interested about Melissa’s feeling for Emma.

Melissa is a homosexual. Curtis is straight. Melissa’s sexual preferences will turn Curtis’ world upside down. Alisha will reveal her sexual experiences in a candid chit-chat. (What will she disclose?) Meanwhile, Nathan will realize that he is not the lover he thinks he is.

Misfits season 3 episode 2 will indeed be centering its attention on Melissa and Curtis. Rest of the cast members will take a back seat for a while. Curtis and Simon will give us some hilarious moments to cherish in the upcoming installment. Simon will gain the unique power of precognition. He would be able to see what’s in store for Curtis and Melissa.

Kelly and Alisha will look for Seth, the possessor of all the mighty powers.

Seductive, adventurous and hilarious – this is how I would describe the upcoming installment. More character and plot developments are expected in Misfits season 3 episode 3. I am just wondering if the characters would be able to retain their existing powers because some of them are really cool.

While many actresses do end up falling into stereotypic images, it’s been more than just that for the gorgeous Latino actress, Antonio Thomas, who plays the sizzling Angela on ‘Misfits’. Even though this role was practically what made the actress a household name, she admits that she doesn’t like being identified as ‘Angela from Misfits’, and would rather like to be known as a young actress.

That probably comes from the perverse peculiarity of her character, Angela, who sends whoever touches her into a sexual frenzy. Antonio reveals that she actually gets touched by men in real life, as they try to see whether she really has any such effect on them. That definitely sounds absolutely ridiculous and senseless, but then, fans can be totally absurd at times.

The message that she wishes to send out to her fans is that she’s just like any one of them, and has no special powers whatsoever. So if you ever happen to be lucky enough to see Antonio in real life, remember the rules set by this lady- number one, don’t refer to her as the girl from Misfits, and number two, don’t you dare to touch her!

On her part, the actress is doing her bit to shake off the image that she’s beginning to be identified with. She’s turning back to her theatrical roots, and is currently working on a play entitled ‘Yerma’ by Spanish playwright Federico García Lorca, who she says is her favorite dramatist. Antonio will be seen in the role of Maria, the protagonist’s friend, who has all that Yerma yearns for.

In a world where everyone seems to be hungry for fame, Antonio thinks quite differently, and says that she’s actually terrified of fame. That explains her unlikely screen to stage transition. Her dream role goes perfectly with her idiosyncratic personality- she wishes to play Juliet in Shakespeare’s widely acclaimed play, ‘Romeo and Juliet’.

One thing that’s for sure is that the real life Antonio is a far-cry from what we get to see of her on the Misfits episodes! Who you like better- Antonio, or Angela, is left for you to decide!

Coming from the lands of the super-powered comedy drama series, Misfits, is the news of major cast changes taking place. The first and the only one till now, is that the mischievous Nathan Young will say his goodbyes to the show and to its viewers.

The Misfits will now be devoid of the antics of this mischievous young man, who also happens to be immortal, but has a curious propensity for doing the unexpected in a totally unexpected way, just to see the look on others’ faces.

But now, it seems that Nathan wasn’t as immortal as we would have thought he was. Before the new season, the season three begins, there will be a special farewell episode where Robert a.k.a. Nathan will take his bow.

It’s a shame really, because Nathan added a certain edge to the proceedings on the show with his disdain for almost anybody and everybody around him; also his growing fondness for Kelly added a humane aspect to his character, making people get a download every opportunity they could.

But now, all eyes will be on the newcomer, Joe Gilgun, who will be playing a character named Rudy, and will be introduced in the new season as a young man who’s given community service and then joins the Misfits.

It will be interesting nonetheless, considering that the season three has been ordered for a miserly total of 8 episodes, it better be good.
Plus, the whole selling you powers business should be explained in the next season and also the consequences of the Misfits getting or buying their powers back will be an interesting watch.
